Mountainbiking

Calling all mountain biking enthusiasts! The Dents du Midi Region, nestled within the Portes du Soleil area, offers an expansive playground for bikers of all levels. From the gentle Géant trail in Morgins to the thrilling black World Cup trail in Champéry, there's a trail for everyone. With a single lift pass, explore 600 kilometers of trails, 22 mountain bike lifts, and various disciplines from cross-country to downhill. Soak in panoramic views, traverse alpine pastures, and take full advantage of the 22 lifts that crisscross the Franco-Swiss border. 

Via Ferrata de Tière

Ready for a thrilling adventure that's part hiking and part climbing? The Via Ferrata de Tière awaits! This challenging route stretches 460 meters, with a 125-meter elevation gain and 75-degree rock face incline. Spanning the cascades of the Tière torrent, it features exhilarating passages on hanging bridges. Accessible for both adults and children (minimum height 1.50m), this mountain activity is secured by rock-mounted ladders, a harness, and a continuous cable. Traverse the path that starts at around 900 meters and finishes at 1190 meters, and don't forget to rent equipment from local sports shops.

Climbing in Barme

For climbers seeking adventure, the Barme climbing wall is a dream come true. With 57 routes ranging from 3+ to 7b, it offers opportunities for climbers of all levels. Nestled at the base of the stunning Dents Blanches mountains, this limestone cliff provides a breathtaking backdrop. Apart from climbing, Barme is the starting point for numerous hiking trails, making it a multifaceted destination rich in natural beauty and history.
